Michael is an actor, teaching artist, and (lazy) writer.

As an actor, Michael has performed with many companines on the east coast including Perishable Theatre, Alias Stage, CentaStage, and TheatreZone as well as theatres in NYC and on the west coast such as the Boxcar Theatre (SF), the Oakland Public Theatre, and Zombie Joe's Underground Theatre (LA).  He was also a company member of the Doghouse Theatre in Los Angeles from 2010 - 2013.

Michael has taught acting, Shakespeare, playmaking, theatre history, and improvisation to elementary, secondary, and high school students with arts education organizations such P.S. ART (psarts.org), California Shakespeare Theatre (calshakes.org), the New York Film Academy (nyfa.edu), the Marin Shakespeare Co. (marinshakespeare.org), and the Marin Theatre Co. (marintheatre.org).  In 2008, several of Michael's lessons and curriculum plans were published in the P.S. Arts Teaching Artist's Resource Kit and he has created and taught theatre-based creative play classes to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, and other cognitive and physical disabilities.

Michael has also written and performed several solo performances including HIV TV! which received its west coast premiere at the Doghouse Theatre in October, 2011.

He currently resides in Rhode Island, home of grinders, coffee cabinets, and Del’s Lemonade.
